In 2007 he climbed Mount Everest past 7,500 meters - called the “death zone” - wearing nothing but shorts and shoes.

According to Wim Hof the secret of his feats of endurance lies in being able to influence your own autonomic nervous system and immune system. He caused a scientific breakthrough by proving that people he trained were able to do so.

Now the Wim Hof Method is practiced all over the world. Wim regularly travels the globe to give courses and seminars or to participate in new scientific research.

We presented Wim Hof with the Torch Bearer Award for the good work he has done all over the world, inspiring millions of people through the Wim Hof Method.
