Austria 9 June: Bratislava/Berg - Mistelbach

A great start in Bratislava at the famous castle. For five days Slovakia hosted the Peace Run. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality!

Our first meeting: we arrived in Berg...

Located at the Danube - this old Roman settlement guarded by old city walls was hosting the Peace Run already several times...

Soon we reached Marchegg. Lots of kids awaited us on the sport field...

The mayor received the torch and passed it to the kids...

...the "Marchfeld" - region is a real garden - lots of vegetables and other farm products come from that part of Austria.

Gänserndorf, here we are! The kids from the primary school received us with big smiles....
