Linz - Waxenberg

Reported by Dipavajan Renner 84.0 km

After a good night rest we were ready for Linz, the capital of Upper Austria.
Our gratitude to the "Arcotel Nike",...

...the Ibis Hotel"...

...the "Park Inn Radisson"...

...the "Sommerhaus Hotel"...

...and the "Hotel Spitz" for hosting our team!

...we crossed the river Danube and started our climb up the "Pöstlingberg"...

...so close and still far away...

..that is the easy way...

...a nice view from above...

...and a few nice meetings, too...

...we visited friends...

...and finally we left Linz behind...

...back in school after the long Pentacost weekend: the primary school in Lichtenberg lined up for the torch...

...the mayor welcomed our team...

Thank you Lichtenberg for the nice welcome!

...it was a perfect running day...

Gramastetten, here we are! We met the children from the primary school and the secondary school...

...the kids kept us busy...

Thank you Gramastetten for the friendship!

Neusserling was next: a very small, but lovely primary school.

...cheating for the country guessing game gets punished...

Thank you Neusserling for the fun!

...the kids joined us for another km...

...it was time to say good bye...

...a beautiful countryside...

..and we reached the primary school in Herzogsdorf...

...more punishment for cheating...

Thank you Herzogsdorf for the warm welcome!

...people used the opportunity to lighten a candle with the flaming peace torch...

....finally we reached Waxenberg, our final destination. Thank you all for the nice day!
