In Bonn we are welcomed by the children at KGS Burgschule

We continue running down the Rhine

Beautiful scenic views

In Remagen we are welcomed by schoolchildren at IGS Remagen

Annika leads the children in a run around the school

Then they take us to their sports track for some really fast running

Philip wins the 400 metre race!

This is the remains of a bridge which the American troops used to cross the Rhine in 1945. It collapsed killing 30 soldiers and has now become the site of a Peace Museum. There is a famous German film about this bridge.

The class teacher sports her 'peace' T-shirt and the student has a 'peace' scarf.

Farewell!

Just along the bank of the river in Remagen we are met by a city representative.

In Bad Breisig we are met by the Mayoress - Gabriele Hermann-Lersch

Samalya picks up the pace

Our final destination for the day is the beautiful city of Koblenz

Mr Hoffmann who leads the Tourist department welcomes us.

He gave us a wonderful reception in the City Hall
