Turku - Åland

Reported by Devashishu Torpy 5.0 km

Today the Peace Run arrives for the first time ever to the autonomous island of Åland. It is part of Finland, but most people speak Swedish. We are greeted by the Mayor (right) outside the Peace Institute.

Barbara, the Mayor, leads us on a run through Mariehamn.

By the docks people are gathered for boat races.

The Tall Ships race will be held here in 2021.

The Mayor introduces the Peace Run.

Susan from the Peace Institute offers some words.
