The famous Oxford Union debating chamber

Many lively debates have taken place in the Oxford Union Debating chamber. Today the Peace Runners briefly explained the message behind the Peace Run to Union President Michael Liu.

Famous people such as Mother Theresa, Mikhail Gorbachev and Jimmy Carter have spoken in the chamber. Benazir Bhutto was a former president of the Oxford Union.

President Michael Liu kindly showed us around the Oxford Union and gave a brief insight into the rich and varied traditions of Oxford Union, which stretch back to 1823
