The Peace Run team at the famous Scala Dei Turchi before arriving at the salt mine in Realmonte where a ceremony will be held in the famous Salt Cathedral.
The mine extends underground between the towns of Siculiana and Raffadali through 25 kilometers of tunnels. The mine produces rock salt and kainite among the best in the world for mineral quality.

Il team Peace Run alla famosa Scala Dei Turchi prima di arrivare alla miniera di sale di Realmonte dove si terrà una cerimonia nella famosa Cattedrale di Sale.
La miniera, da cui si ricavano salgemma e kainite, tra le migliori al mondo per qualità minerale, si estende nel sottosuolo tra i comuni Siculiana e Raffadali attraverso 25 chilometri di gallerie.

From the tunnel entry, we walked downward along the main tunnel for about one kilometer. Here you see the arrival of the authorities with the torch at the Salt Cathedral, about 150 meters below ground.

Dopo aver percorso la discesa iniziata dal tunnel d'ingresso l'arrivo delle autorità con la fiaccola all'area della Cattedrale di Sale a circa 150 metri sotto il suolo.

The members of the international Peace Run team, from over thirty nations, sang the Peace Run anthem.

I membri del team internazionale Peace Run, provenienti da oltre trenta nazioni, cantano l'inno della Peace Run.

The program ended with a Peace Concert performed a cappella by the international ensemble “Oneness-Dream”, who sang compositions dedicated to peace, by the Peace Run founder, Sri Chinmoy, in the picturesque setting of the Salt Cathedral, also known for its excellent acoustics.

Il Concerto Per La Pace per sole voci dell'ensemble internazionale Oneness-Dream che ha cantato composizioni per la pace composte dal dal fondatore della Peace Run Sri Chinmoy, nella suggestiva cornice della Cattedrale di Sale nota anche per offrire una eccellente acustica.
