Portland, OR - Winlock, WA

We are grateful for accomodation at The Grand Hotel where the girls team stayed over night.

After 5 miles Pierre was so thirthy that he almost drank an entire gallon of water.

Josef is flying downhill towards Longview.

Mount Rainier was watching us all the time.

Pujari the Great was keeping it real all the time as well.

Longwiev bridge is piece of art. We have now left Oregon and entered Washington. Hurray!

Pujari was hiding, but we have found him anyway.

A local runner, Tom, joined us all the way from Longwiev to Castle Rock.

Andy and Katherine were very excited when the torch passed by their shop. They took the opportunity to make their wish for Peace.

Mike and Arpan were the runners who brought the torch to Castle Rock.

Castle Rock Senior Center made a nice sign to welcome the Peace Runners.

Some seniors were 95 years old.

During the ceremony Salil said that we have to be greateful to the older generation for the conditions we are living in right now. Without their work we would not be able to live the way we live.

The Senior Center offered everyone a big portion of ice cream with strawberries.

We are so grateful to Myron, the director of the Senior Center of Castle Rock, and his wife Mary who invited us to this really nice meeting.

We thanked Mike for running with us and provided him with an update to his T-shirt with our Peace Run logo.

We presented a certificate of appreciation and a beautiful art print by Sri Chinmoy to the Senior Club.
