At Historic Fox Point in Providence Rhode Island, the Peace Run was invited to have a display as part of this year's annual Cape Verdean Independence Day
Festival.
Our display table featured scenes from the Peace Run's visit
to Cabo Verde (Cape Verde) in 2015.

Several local politicians in attendance at the Festival were happy to hold the torch.
Pictured is U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse holding the Peace Torch.
