Peace Run North America begins with 10 countries represented.

Sweta from Russia begins. A journey of 10,000 miles begins with a single step.

Our first stop was the Islamic Society of Central Jersey. We received blessings of protection and success from Imam Hamad Ahmad Chebli.

Hasib recited the first seven verses of the Koran.

Members of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton joined us also. They were visiting ISCJ for an annual event focused on inclusion and oneness.

Our next stop was the New Jersey Buddhist Vihara and Meditation Center. They also gave us blessings of protection and best wishes for success.

Subhamaya, our host for day one of the Peace Run arranged many welcoming and inspired visits to spiritual centers and congregations.

We made new friends...

like Gitanjali

and MJ

and were joined for the Princeton leg of the run by our new young friends from the Buddhist Vihara.

Princeton University was a special treat for the girls team...

who received an invitation to speak about the Peace Run at the Princeton Chapel.

We made more new friends along the way.

A BAS relief of George Washington was part of our Princeton University visit.

More new friends

Subhamaya and Srutavinda were excellent hosts and gave us an excellent send off from New Jersey to begin our way across America. Thank you both for your excellent hospitality.

Our final stop of the day and fifth blessing came from the Durga Temple. We were received warmly by Dr. Jaggi.

Pundit's Chet Ram Acharya and Naresh Shastri graciously welcomed us as well.

Thank you Dr. Jaggi!
