Wil (CH) - Vaduz (Liechtenstein)

Reported by Dipavajan Renner 88.0 km

Our last day in Switzerland brought the winter back. Starting from Wil the green slopes turned quickly into snow-covered mountains...

...the first snow-flocks...

...as we reached Unterwasser we were back in Winter...

Pushkar took the opportunity to start a snowball-fight...

...as we came down the mountain, we could clearly see already Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, in the distance...

...running along the river Rhein, the border between Switzerland and Liechtenstein....

We reached the bridge in Sevelen. This bridge is a member of the world-wide "Sri Chinmoy Peace Blossoms" family - which dedicates landmarks, cities and countries to cause of global Peace...

A quick group picture at the memorial stone...

...most of these old bridges in Switzerland are covered with a roof...

...a "greeting committee" at the "other" side! Welcome to Liechtenstein!

A representative of the city welcomed our team - and even ran with us into the capital!

Liechtenstein is one of Europe's really small countries - but with a big heart!

...arriving in Vaduz...

Thank you for running with us!

We visited old friends of the Peace Run...

...a brief presentation....

Thank you for the hospitality!

It was time to say good bye to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. All our gratitude for the outstanding hospitality, friendship and support of the Peace Run!
