Bern - Trubschachen

Reported by Devashishu Torpy 65.0 km

Arriving at the primary school in Häutligen.

A warm welcome by the Head Teacher.

A moment of Peace.

The children sing a beautiful Swiss song for us.

The children run with us through the panoramic pastoral countryside.

We continue on towards Langnau.

A passing school group stop to hold the torch.

Children from the Rudolf Steiner School in Langnau meet us at the city limits to escort us to their school.

The children present us with all the beautiful paintings they have made.

Passing the torch from hand to hand.

A gift of food from the school.

Now the temperature has dropped to 4 Celcius and it's beginning to rain.

But that doesn't deter these children who are waiting in Trubschachen for us, oblivious to the adverse weather conditions.

The Head Teacher welcomes us.

This boy is from Brazil!

Misty eyes!

Let's run!

Now the Peace Run in Europe will take a break for Easter and continue on April 19th in Italy.
