We would like to express our gratitude to Best Western in Sedalia for a restful night.

We had an early start since it is going to be hot and humid today and nothing better than starting our day with blessings.

Rupasi found a friend from her state of Washington.

Not easy going up hill.

We feel so grateful to have Virangini driving the women's team. We love you!

Here is Homagni running like a flash. If you blink, you wont see him.

Our first ceremony was at the Unity Village Chapel. A spiritual community founded by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore which vision was to bring the message of love, oneness and divinity among all religions.

Harita introduces the Peace Run to the congregation.

We would like to thank Ayesha Livingston (with the microphone on hand) for arranging us to meet with the young ones to do our program and for giving us a fantastic tour of the Unity Village Chapel.

Amber read a peace poem.

This young girl started us with the rainbow prayer before our program started.

Feeling peace in our hearts.

Our team mates doing a skit to show kids harmony and disharmony.

We would like to thank kctv5 in Kansas City for their fantastic coverage of the Peace Run.

Thank you to Unity Village Chapel for allowing us to share the Peace Run message of peace and oneness with your congregation and the children.

Sharing the peace torch with our new young friends. Here kitty holding the torch.

Time to take a tour of the Village.

We had a nice meditation in the Peace Chapel.

The Blue Room

The flowers on the doors were individually crafted.

Taking the elevator down to visit the tunnels in the village.

The view from the Faith Bridge.

Unity Labyrinth is the largest paver labyrinth in the USA. Its designed in an 11 circuit medieval pattern, spanning 6,358 square feet with a tree quarters mile path and 90 ft diameter. This labyrinth is a sanctuary for reflection and renewal.

Salil trying to follow the labyrinth. Good luck!

We would like to thank Ayesha for giving us the tour of the special divine grounds at Unity Village Chapel.

Our second ceremony was at the Vedanta Society in Kansas City.  Vedanta is one of the oldest spiritual philosophies of the world, based on the vedas, is universal in its nature and is equally relevant to all cultures and religious backgrounds.

We were received by Swami Paritushtananda  who was enthusiastically waiting for us.

He spoke to us about the importance of peace and how proud he was of us running through America sharing the message of peace and oneness.

We were honored that we performed a song for us in his harmonium.

He offered us Prasad, a delicious bowl of fruit.

Thank you for hosting us at the Vedanta Society in Kansas City and wishing us well in our journey.

We would like to thank KC Craft Ramen in Overland Park Kansas for hosting us over for dinner. Gratitude.

Aki, the owner, holding the peace torch. We thank you and your staff for your kindness. It makes us happy and hopeful when we meet kind people like him across America.

Aki with some of the staff and our team.

We had a wonderful day meeting inspiring and kind people today in our journey.

May the flames of peace-torch Kindle and awaken  Each and every world-citizen. Sri Chinmoy
