Oxford - London

Reported by Devashishu Torpy 26.0 km

Our day begins at John Henry Newman Academy in Oxford

Each class has a chance to hold the torch

Thank you to the staff, who have arranged for a few students to run towards the next school.

Students from St John Fisher Catholic Primary School meet the students from John Henry Newman Academy to receive the torch.

We arrive at St John Fisher school to some high fives.

The children present us with various works of art, including this car they built.

The school is celebrating International Day and VE Day. The children come from many different countries and are dressed up in their national costumes.

Then we run down to the athletics track where Roger Bannister broke the 4 minute mile barrier.

Dhavala had been contemplating jumping the fence in her eagerness to see the track, but the signs were not good.

Running into the city of Oxford.

The Bridge of Sighs.
