Mayor Butler received the Sri Chinmoy Oneness Home Peace Run Torch Bearer Award for her dedicated service to her community. Born and raised in Eudora, Ms. Butler is the first woman of color to lead the city as mayor. Prioritizing empathy, passion and understanding, she hopes her achievements will inspire others to be a stepping stone in the community.
