Geraldton, WA - Coral Bay, WA

Reported by Atulya Berube, Edgars Ancans, Teekhnata Metzler 253.0 km

We had a brief photoshoot in Carnarvon first thing this morning. We were also hoping to spot some dolphins in the bay. Alas, no luck.

Sarankhuu ran a lot today, but there was also time to read books.

Just remove the bushes and then it will look like on Mars.

Knock, knock, does anyone live in here?

We rely heavily on some of our big gun runners. Dhavala is always up to the task.

Gate.

Anara seems to be adapting to the team flow very nicely.

Child Self

Child, child, where have you gone. I sense you like an ancient song.

I hum the tune, but the words escape me. Darkness arrived and you left early.

Now you’re a whisper in my dream. I try to embrace you, a translucent moonbeam.

I awake to tears wet and streaming. Feeling the warmth of my soul still gleaming.

--Teekhnata

Another one of our big gun runners, Emily, prepares for her next stretch. Runners like her, give the whole team confidence that we can complete the distance.

Thanks for stopping to hold the torch.

Our fearless coordinator, Uddyogini, puts in the hot, long ks. Well done!

We stumbled upon this "Martian" installation...

...with strange little aliens.

But they look pretty friendly. :-)

It is quite amazing that any flowers can grow here at, never mind these little beauties!

Bill's Bay is next to the team's accomodation "Ningaloo Coral Bay - Bayview". The runners will be able to have a good swim and relax after two long days of running.

A few hundred metres from the swimming area is Nhuga Malinmayi - Shark Nursery. Some species known to aggregate here include: the black tip reef shark, white tip reef shark, grey reef shark and the lemon shark.

Thank SOOOOOOO much Ningaloo Coral Bay Bayview for hosting the entire team for TWO nights! We can already feel the rejuvenation.
