
We all had an early start today so we could complete our running before our scheduled school visit. The landscape now is dotted with termite hills and since yesterday we have been seeing baobab trees along our route.

The entire team covered 215km today to Fitzroy Crossing, where they visited Fitzroy Valley District High School.

Despite the easterly wind, in the Lion team each runner completed two 7km sections today. Totaling 72km.

As The Peace Run supporters on the side of the road, Western Australia's iconic boab trees greeted us.

We arrived at Fitzroy District High School and were welcomed by the deputy principal, David Wheatfill who led us to a group of students who were enthusiastic to hear about the Peace Run.
