A huge thank you to Hyvärilän Nuorisokeskus and to Nurmes for accommodating the Peace Runners!

There was a small school, but a big welcome in Vihtasuon koulu...

The kids helped us with acting out the World Harmony Run song, which also warmed them up during the cold morning...

A painting which represents world harmony was given by Jan Klaile...

Even the teachers enthusiastically made a wish for Peace, Joy and Harmony for the rest of the world...

On our long runs sometimes we do speed work-outs...

Time to spare before the next school...

Working on a web-report...

Nunnanlahden koulu requested us to present our whole program about peace in English, so the kids have an international experience...

In Kolin koulu we started our presentation with the peace run song...

Spreading goodwill...

It was hard for members of our team to catch up with fast runners...

Our coordinator of the day Anne is surrounded by friendly journalists...

Running towards the childerens sports-field, which was part of their Physical Education class...

Next we visit Koli National park...

On the top of Ukkokoli is a beautiful view of Pielinen, which is the 3rd biggest lake in Finland...

The view behind Pekka appears on the cover of the national book about Finland...

We have prepared a short performance of some songs about Christ for the nuns and the volunteers. They are a really compassionate audience and receive them thankfully...
