Olivia from Mexico has joined the team and leads us to our first appointment of the day - Balgreen Primary School in Edinburgh.

Shyamala, the Scottish coordinator for the Peace Run, shares the story of the Peace Run with the children.

The school receives a Certificate from the Peace Run team and a painting by the founder of the Peace Run, Sri Chinmoy.

Our next appointment is at a school we visited in 2016 - St David's RC Primary School.

These paintings by the children will be exhibited at the Colosseum in Rome on September 21st - the United Nations Day of Peace.

In Edinburgh there are still signs of the famous Fringe Festival.

The Lord Provost of Edinburgh welcomes the Peace Run team.

Inside the City Chambers the Lord Provost offers words of support for this noble cause.

Saughton Park in Edinburgh is undergoing a grand transformation.

The beautiful gardens are being restored to their original Victorian design.

In the gardens is a statue of the founder of the Peace Run, Sri Chinmoy.

Visitors to the park are invited to hold the torch and take a moment to meditate on Peace.

In Run and Become, a sports store in Edinburgh, runners have been invited to enjoy a short presentation on the Peace Run before carrying the torch on an 8 mile run to Barnton.
