A group of older children of St. Josephs Primary school are eagerly waiting to meet the team and carry the torch into their school.

When we arrrive we are treated to many incredible music and dance performances by the school children.

Principle Roz holds the Peace Torch and certificate of appreciation. She has done an incredible job at arranging the visit by the Peace Run.

The final part of this amazing event is to inaugurate a beautiful Peace installation at the school entrance. The artwork was created by a talented local artist and represents Peace in the school, in the community and in the world as a whole.

We arrive at St. Moninna's primary school in Northern Ireland and receive a very warm welcome. We are treated to a gorgeous slow air on the Irish harp as we enter the school.

Our first port of call is to a beautiful little sanctuary at the side of the school where we plant a Peace Tree.

As fitting for the occasion the Peace Run presents the School with an artwork by Sri Chinmoy entitled 'Plant a tree for World Harmony'.

Principle Temple holds the peace torch with two students beside the Peace Tree. She is keen gardener herself and grows her own organic food.
