Uugana is the first runner of the day, leaving from our wonderful accommodations at the...

Will Rogers Inn.  Thank you for kindly sharing complimentary rooms with us.  Because of people like you, we are able to continue the Peace Run.

Route 66 has countless wonders, including the Blue Whale of Catoosa.

We met Tim and Leslie from California who were here as concert goers for an event in the area.

Pransukh joins in for more Route 66 fun.

Transportation from they eye of the past...

A symbol of 'progress'.

Shawn saw us running, searched the website, then decided to stop and take pictures.  He was very happy and surprised to hold the torch as well.

More Route 66!

Everyone gathered at the Phillips 66 station to begin our run to the Tulsa Boy's Home.  It is one of our favorite places in the Tulsa area, an amazing place for young men to learn life skills, confidence and friendship while working with horses and with each other.  Now we begin!

Welcome team to Tulsa Boy's Home.  TBH  is a place where young people can learn and grow into better citizens of the world.  Horses play a big part in their growth and progress.

Dakota carries the peace torch in the meet the youth waiting for us.

The young people have many thoughtful questions and were very respectful and interested.

Our Mongolian teammates give the youth a musical clue to guess their country.

Our three new teammates Israel, Jahail and Gabe have a nice conversation with Jozsef and the team.

After the program, both Fox News and NBC set up their cameras to interview the team.  Clayton from Fox23 and Clifton from NBC were good natured and enthusiastic.

Friends working together.

After all the words were said, we hoped they were ready to join the team, Clifton Haskin from NBC and Clayton Araujo from Fox23 News have worked the same stories for some time.  Their camaraderie and friendship is an inspiring example of our oneness as members of one human family. Opinions may differ, but in all the important ways, we are the same.

TBH invited us to a wonderful lunch before going outside to meet some of the horses on staff.

We are joined by our excellent young guides, Israel, Jahail and Gabe.  They are all aspiring horsemen and toured us around with expertise and care.

They introduced us to Boomer, the 'old-timer' of the herd and very gentle horse.

Boomer is one of about 150 horses who reside at the Tulsa Boys Home.

Dakota tells us about the mini donkey and ponies there.

Rupasi among her own kind.

Thank you to all those we met at the Tulsa Boy's Home.  We look forward to seeing you again!
