In addition to its message of peace, the Peace Run reminds that the original mission of the Blue Road was to unite Nordic peoples across borders. The father of the idea was the Swede Lennart Hartin from Lycksele, where our day´s route ended.

Niharika came up with the idea of this Peace Run to go along the Blue Road from the Russian border through Finland and Sweden to Norway.

Kamaniya is running in her native Sweden.

Andrea is always enthusiastic, constantly smiling and a strong runner.

Thamara came all the way from Brazil, is also a strong runner and a multi-tasking talent.

Today we celebrated Andrey´s birthday and the team gave him an ice cream cake.
