Reported by Atul Arora

The next morning we visited the Swami Vivekanada High school in Karwar, Karnataka. It was both, primary and secondary school.

It was dedicated to Swami Vivekananda. He was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world.

Meeting the staff members of the school.

Meeting with primary students.

Getting ready before our run around the playground. This was again a good example of a disciplined school.

Then running around the playground.

We had a great time with these students who were a great example of joyful beings on earth.

Now its time to get ready for the next batch of the school, secondary students.

They greeted us by singing few peaceful songs and chanted some mantras for the success of the run.

Now its time to enjoy calm and peaceful beaches of India.

Some felt a bit runny and ...

some were too sunny.

Backstreet of Kanwar city

This shopkeeper has done a great job in collecting a varied collection of spices of India.

A typical example of a comprehensive insurance policy in India.

Along the way we came across these local stundents who just finished their school.

An impromptu presentation at the compund of the school.

Sometime peace run torch find its dear friends by itself.

We then visited the Ramakrishna Mission ashram situated in Karwar.

We finally arrived at our destination, Murudeshwar. A town in Bhatkal Taluk of Uttara Kannada district in the state of Karnataka.
