Reported by Devashishu Torpy 7.0 km

Our morning starts with a visit to Gianni Rodari Primary School in Padua.

Daniele is our fearless translator.

Our second meeting is at Giovanni XXlll Primary and Secondary School in Pianiga.

Next we visit young children at the Rivale Kindergarten school.

Our fourth school visit is to Edmondo De Amicis.

Each runner is bestowed a medal of Peace, made by the children.

The Peace Run team are invited to attend various classrooms where Art projects inspired by the Peace Run are taking place.

Everyone drop your brush!

These illustrated letters that were made by the school in Sanguinetto (which we collected the previous day) are displayed for the children to see.

The children have made their own illustrated letters to spell the first part of the Peace Run motto 'PEACE BEGINS ....'.

A quick lunch break in the rain under the canopy of a car showroom.

We are joined by students and coaches from the sports University.

They run with us into the centre of Padua for a special inauguration.

Today a 'Path of Peace' 'Sentieri di Pace' is being inaugurated in Padova. A representative from the city government and a Professor of Peace Studies are in attendance for this special occasion.

The gentleman on the left organises a project where various bridges are dedicated to Peace.
