Maggio 29, 2026 Live from the road

Mosjøen - Brønnøysund

Reported by Gordana Petrovčić 130.0 km

Our morning begins in the Mosjoen. Mosjõen is famous for Helgelanstrappa. With 4 175 steps, Helgelandstrappa is the world’s longest stone staircase. It stretches from the Vefsna River just outside the center of Mosjøen, all the way up to the summit of Øyfjellet,  818 meters above the fjord and the city below.

We started our morning run, joined by local journalist!

Children from Mosjõen school come to run the with us.

We presented the Peace run!

And played with children couple of games.

Thank you for your kind words!

To share peace with others, first we have to find it in our hearts!

Time to pass the Torch!

...teachers together...

Thank you so much for a wonderful meeting!

Our second visit was FUS Barnehage. The teachers, like the kids, were very happy to receive the Torch.

--.but this time we took photos just of our Peace Run kids...

The road, our constant companion...

...children from Hilstad school were wainting for us...

Thank you for your artwork!

And for your smiles...

Thank you for a joyful meeting! It was great to run with you! We hope to see you again soon!

United in love for humanity!

Thank you so much for hospitality!

Time to have a rest! Thank you all for another wonderful day!
