Our morning running was wonderful, cool and on a beautiful trail called the Pine River trail.

Special thanks to the Ramada Inn for hosing us last night.

We met a number of fellow trail users.

Laina Gustafson, Reporter for the Times-Tribune newspaper, met the women's team as we started running into Mazomanie.

We were very sorry to see Yuyudhan depart. He very kindly joined us from Minneapolis, MN.

Mark and Donna were out riding the bikes on the trail.

Our first event for the day was a visit to the summer camp at the Hickory Hills Academy.

The students had made wonderful signs encouraging the team. Many were personalized to specific team members.

Go #1 Mahiya!

You got this Tavishi!

The students were very eager to show they knew where Croatia was.

We had a great time learning the actions to the World Harmony Run song.

Many of the students shared their expressions of what peace means to them.

A special banner signed by all the students.

A sign announcing our arrival..

We were delighted to present our Torch-Bearer award to Hickory Hill's Academy Founders Dr. Sandra Dahl and her husband, Dr. Will Dahl. Their children Matt and Heather.

We were fascinated to hear the story of the creation of the school and how much Dr. Jane Goodall had inspired Dr. Sandra in the creation of the school.

"Love neve fails."

Thank you to everyone for an inspiring and heartfelt welcome.

Later in the day we were welcomed to Deer Park Buddhist Temple where we had a wonderful opportunity for silent refection and to hear some haunting chanting.

The head monk very kindly welcomed the team and shared some soulful reflections on the themes of peace.

To finish we embarked on a prayerful walk through the grounds.

As we were departing the temple we felt blessed to see a beautiful fawn with it's mother.
