Our day in London begins at Riversdale Primary School in the Borough of Wandsworth. Wandsworth is the London Borough of Culture this year.
Marina from Ukraine has joined the team for the day.
Chiara (carrying the torch) works at the World Heart Beat Academy, who are organising our itinerary today.
We then visit Swaffield Primary School, who welcomed us back in 2016 and 2018.
We stop for lunch at the World Heart Beat Academy building in Kimber Road. Sahana, holding the torch, is the founder of the Academy.
After lunch, Nina Dhavala and Jana lead the run east along the river Thames.

This plaque marks the Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile in Battersea Park. This Peace Mile was the first of many established around the world.
We then visit St Mary's Roman Catholic School in Battersea.
Accompanying us at this visit is Betsy Blatchley. Betsy is wearing her Peace Run Torch Bearer Medal which she received two years ago. Betsy is Pioneer Minister in the Arts. She works with Nine Elms Arts Ministry to bring the local community together through arts events. She is soon moving to the city of Bath for a new post.

We run to our fourth school visit in the Nine Elms area.
After running with the children at Griffin Primary School in Nine Elms, we pose for a photograph with the Head Teacher who is from Canada.
The British Peace Run ends at the World Heart Beat Academy in Nine Elms.
Indrani Mehta is the last person to hold the lighted torch, before it goes to Hungary.
