We would like to express our gratitude to Indian Campground for offering us accommodations to spend the night under the stars last night.

The women's team collecting soil from the state of Kentucky.

Arpan starting us this morning to our first ceremony of the day, a meeting with Bardwell , KY Mayor, Phillip King.

We offered him a certificate of appreciation for taking time of his busy schedule to meet with us and hold the torch. He applauded our efforts for peace and spoke about the importance of peace.

Next stop was Cairo Elementary School

We were greeted by enthusiastic students. Here playing the guessing game. Where is Mexico in the map???

It's always nice to take a moment of our busy day to feel peace in our hearts, to calm us down and share our peace with others around us. The students did an excellent job in offering a few seconds of silence for world peace. I hope they never forget that Peace Begins with each of us.

Devashishu explaining the actions of the World Harmony Run song. Everyone had a great time!

When we feel peace, then it's easier to share love and kindness to the world. Here the women's team doing a skit to show an action of kindness.

Teachers turn to run with peace torch around the gym.

Thank you principal Serina Williams for having us at your school. We had a great time. Here offering them a certificate and artwork by founder of the Peace Run, Sri Chinmoy.

Mayor Thomas M. Simpson offered us a Proclamation.

Devashishu found some new little friends.

Thank you Cairo Elementary for having us in your school. We are very grateful.

Now it's time to hold the torch and make a wish for world peace.

Peace Train is a must! Specially when Arpan is in the team. Way to go everyone!

After the ceremony at the school, Mayor Simpson and Police Chief Len Harris took us to a grocery store near by to supply us with water and snacks for our journey. We were very happy and grateful for their generosity.

After some grocery shopping, Mayor treated us to a restaurant near by for lunch. It was delicious! Thank you so much.

Mayor Simpson receiving the Torch Bearer Award for his selfless service to his community and kindness. People like him, gives us hope for a better future. We need more sweetness and kindness in this world. Thank you so much.

Now is time for the men's team to run. They find nice people along the way who wanted to hold the torch and make their own wishes for world peace.

Our friend Ambrose stoped by to hold the torch. We later on followed us in his bicycle. Thank for spending some time with us today.

We met more friends along the way.

May my Peace-dream-heart-flower Never wither.    Sri Chinmoy
