The City of Bridges Running Club carry the torch from the Springhill Suites hotel

In the town of Clarion, locals carry the torch. In front is Special Olympian representative, Keira. She has won 1st place in various events, such as weight lifting.

The rain does not deter residents and representatives of Clarion's council from meeting the team.

Joseph and Kathy Croskey are long-standing supporters of the Peace Run, and have graciously received the Peace Run Torch Bearer Award. With them is Adrian, who amongst other portfolios in the council is a sports' facilitator.

Council president Carol Lapinto is wearing the Star Spangled banner.

Mayor Fulmer Vinson welcomes the team with the big heart of Clarion. Behind her is the woman behind The Kindness Project, Jacqueline Griebel. For over 20 years this non-profit organisation has served those in need. She kindly provided a lovely and varied lunch for the team.

Council member Helen Hamikian is a keen runner.

Raquel is all smiles.

Violeta makes new friends.

It's the town of Kane that welcomes the team.

Runners from Kane's Kids of Steel - they ran a mile at the Pittsburgh Marathon!

John supports his local community with a smile.

Let's run!

Gints and Chris take off.

Out on the open road.

It is a long road ahead, but the torch keeps burning.
