Moose Brook - Wolfville

Reported by Pavaka Ritchot 60.0 km

As we set off from our incredible accommodations at the Raven's Rest Retreat, we continued to enjoy and be amazed by the tidal rivers and shoreline of Nova Scotia.

Rasajna and Brahmata happened to meet Fidel near the beach who really resonated with the message of the Peace Run.

Anvita and his glasses are going old school and reading the map like it was poetry.

Medur hard at work.

Ulugbek and his driver, Pavaka, passing over another low-tide river.

Anvita cranking out the kilometres.

The students at Windsor Elementary School had prepared a big beautiful banner and a warm welcome for us.

They also showed us a video of one of their classes reciting a great poem that included the message that peace begins with you and me. The poem was followed by the whole school singing us this lovely song.

The World Harmony Run song with accompanying moves!

The men and women's team always put on little skits that demonstrate examples of peaceful and not-so-peaceful behaviour. This is the start of the men's "race" just before Anvita initiates a not-so-peaceful strategy to win.

The staff at Windsor Elementary also got a chance to do a mini Peace Run torch relay which was enthusiastically cheered on by the students.

Medur, who grew up in Windsor, was happy to bring us to his favorite haunt when visiting family - Gerrish & Gray. Thank you for the drinks and delicious cookies!

Matcha!

Grahak catching up on local Windsor news.

Jayashri takes a moment with the torch before logging some kilometres.

Oliveria in the beautiful Nova Scotia countryside.

Rasajna also taking a moment to infuse some peace into her run.

We had a very nice time chatting with Pat at Scotia Handmade Treasures. She is an artisan herself and really loved hearing about the Peace Run.

Ulugbek has been a real stalwart runner on this Canadian run.

While Satyagraha has possibly been our fastest runner.

...when he's not napping :-)
