We are tremendously grateful to Restwel Motel in Forsyth for giving complimentary accommodation to the whole team. The owner, Mike was super friendly, kind and hospitable. He went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel at home so we could indeed have a restful nights sleep.

Mike, together with his staff Bradley, Loona and Cass really entered into the spirit of the Peace Run and ran the first few blocks of the day with us. Thank You so much for your generosity and enthusiasm.

Atulya put in some early miles to get us on the way.

We met Christopher Schiffer and his Grizzly as we started our running this morning.

Small flowers dotted the roadside as we headed East towards Miles City.

Our run soon took us on a dirt road, with gently rolling hills and vast skies.

Atulya enjoying life with his Hungarian brothers.

It's easy to enjoy the running on days like this.

Montana has lived up to its reputation as Big Sky Country, giving us endless vast skies over its mountains and great plains.

We met Lonnie as he was grading the road and he was happy to come out and make his wish for peace. We were especially happy to see him as it meant a slightly smoother ride for our trusty RV.

Harita brought us into Miles City.

We had some time to look around Miles CIty and some of the team visited the Water Works Art Museum, a water treatment plant from the early 20th century. Tom gave us an enjoyable and informative full tour, assisted by Dixie.

Marina trying out the equipment.

Attila the Hungarian Cowboy!

We found some interesting murals too.

After a hot day we took a stop for ice cream in a shop/cafe packed with vintage and antique decor.

In the late afternoon we gathered at the Riverside Park in Miles City to meet with Mayor Grenz and several members of the Rotary Club. The gazebo was still dressed up after the July 4th celebrations last weekend.

The Peace Torch is captivating for all ages.

Mayor Grenz officially welcomed us to Miles City and declared July 7th as Sri Chinmoy Oneness Home Peace Run day. He added, "Thank you for the good faith you are carrying around."

Renee (on the left) is the Rotary Club President and received our Certificate of Appreciation alongside her predecessor in the role.

Hunter from the Miles City Star came out to cover the meeting.

We passed the Torch around so that everyone could add their own wishes and prayers for Peace.

Thank You Mayor Grenz for taking time out to meet with us.

And our gratitude to the Rotary Club members. They are continuing a long tradition of Rotary Clubs across America and around the world who have supported the Peace Run and shared its ideals.
