Meeting peace-lovers on the road ....

Grades 4-6 of the ecological school GRÜNER CAMPUS MALCHOW offer an enthusiastic welcome to the international Peace Run Team.

The team members introduce the message of the Peace Run and their respective nationalities in a fun way.

The kids enacting the movements of the Peace Run and World Harmony Run Song - running in place, raising an arm to hold the torch and letting the sun radiate from their hearts in a big arm circle.

The school is now a certified member of the Peace Run!

Each kid has an opportunity to touch or hold the torch and put a wish for peace into it which we will carry with us.

Then Narvin from India leads us along the famous East Side Gallery ...

... a remaining part of the Berlin Wall which formerly separated East and West and now has been transformed into the "longest open air gallery in the world" and a symbol of hope.

District Councillor Benjamin Fritz welcomes the Peace Torch and the runners in front of the City Hall of Berlin Mitte.

As District Councillor for Sports and Schools he also enjoys running a few steps with us.

Welcomed by friends at the Optimistic Runner Store

and founder Andrej Kravtsov

Note: we normally ask to please use the Peace Run logo only as a whole! But we sincerely appreciate the enthusiastic support of the Optimistic Runners!

Thank you Berlin - and see you again!
