Some of the women's team were very kindly hosted by Mary and Peggy in their amazing home in the woods outside Spokane.
We had a tour around their garden after being treated to a breakfast including fresh cherries from their tree, alongside homemade granola.
Shari receives a certificate of appreciation from Salil for her help in bringing together a wonderful group of peace-lovers in Spokane.
She then led us on our way. Thank You to all our new friends in Spokane, we hope to see you all again in two years.

We reach Sandpoint where we are met by a group of old friends and new friends, including city representatives, members of Bonner County Human Rights Taskforce and other community groups.
Daulot welcomes everyone, introduces the Peace Run and tells how significant this years run is, as we celebrate the upcoming 250th anniversary of America.
We were delighted that our longtime friend Kym Woodruff was able to join us. Kym first met the Peace Run in 1987 and has been a fixture in our visits to Sandpoint over the years. It was so nice to reconnect with such a peace-loving soul.
We're grateful to Joshua Torrez and Pam Duquette, councilors from the Sandpoint city for joining us today and officially welcoming the Peace Run to Sandpoint.
The statue is in a stunning setting on Lake Pend Oreille, surrounded by hills on all sides, beautiful in any weather!
As we have now entered Idaho we gathered some Idaho soil to continue our project of collecting soil from each State, which will be used to plant a Peace Tree. Thanks to Kym, Pam and Joshua for doing the honours here.
