Daniel begins with a scenic run along Albert Lake. Along the way, he finds an iconic statue of an ostrich that made its way into folklore.

About the same, time, the women's team takes a short ferry ride before beginning a vast stretch of road...

Thank you teachers for all you do! Your work as educators is a huge step in efforts toward bringing peace into the world.

Just outside Tailem Bend, a couple pulled up behind the parked support vehicle, only to cheer the team!

The team was deeply touched by the students brightness and peaceful values seen in the way they interact with us and with each other.

Peace Run was privileged to offer the Torch Bearer Award to its youngest recipient ever. Seven year old Scarlett Gilgen made a wonderful contribution to her school. She last year raised $2,350 in the school fun run and designed Tony Pasin, Member for Barker's Christmas card that went to 80,000 residents in the Barker area. She donated fun run money prizes to a local cricket club which was raising money for one of its members. City of Murray Bridge Mayor Wayne Thorley presented the award to Scarlett. "We're never too small to do big things", he said. He was incredibly happy to be part of this event and deeply touched. He spoke with such humility and with heartfelt words. He told Scarlett that most adults don't accomplish wnat she has done at just seven years of age!

The children enjoy a relaxing and uplifting time outside holding the peace torch while concentrating on peace spreading to the whole world heart. They loved asking personal questions of the runners like, "Do you like pineapple on pizza?" of Italian teammate Roxana.

Thank you to the Woolworths of Murray Bridge for generously providing a gratefully received gift card. The team will be able to buy provisions for both dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow.

Rachel at the Golden Chain Oval Motel was very happy to offer the last room available to some runners. We are welcomed with fresh milk for our coffee and tea. Such a heartfelt welcome!

Heartfelt thanks to Carolyn, owner and manager of Motel Riverbend for supporting four team members with a specious room. We are very grateful.
