This morning we assembled a team of Peace Runners from 30 countries to visit Kyoto City Hall. Co-hosted by Kyoto City and Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run, this lunch-time ceremony was a continuation of the event held the day before at Zest Shopping Mall, entitled "Peace and Harmony - Music and Art."
今日は京都市役所で Peace and Harmony〜音楽とアート と題し、京都市と共催で、昼休みに特別セレモニーを行いました。前日に同タイトルのイベントを近隣のゼスト御池河原町広場で行ったところです。 市内で行われている世界会合のため集まった、30カ国からの代表ランナーが整列します。 ピーストーチを掲げる他、提唱者シュリチンモイの平和のアート作品や音楽も味わっていただく企画です。

Japan Peace Run Director Harashita Sunaoshi expresses our gratitude to Kyoto City, for their continuous support since the Peace Run became a registered community group in 2018. In addition to today's beautiful ceremony, the city also was instrumental in making the underground walk-through art exhibit by the founder Sri Chinmoy. Thank you the city of Kyoto for their cooperation and initiative.

京都市 中心部、四条通地下道（11番〜12番出口）で2026年2月の1ヶ月間展示されたアートの一部。
These banners were displayed for the month of February, 2026, between Exits 11 and 12 of the underground walk-through of Shijo-dori Street, the major shopping street in central Kyoto, as part of 'Revitalizing the city through art', a collaborative project by Kyoto City and Hankyu Railway.

A women's music group Blue Flower from the Balkans region performed a selection Sri Chinmoy's musical compositions including one dedicated to Japan which loosely translated speaks about Japan's gift to the world of Inspiration-Beauty.
プログラムの後半は、セルビア・スロベニア・ウクライナのメンバーで構成される女性グループBlue Flowerによる演奏です。シュリチンモイ作詞作曲の平和と調和の調べを奏でます。最後には日本の美とインスピレーションについて歌った曲も披露しました。
We are delighted to have all the city officials present along with Bureau Chief Namikawa, Gusti Dipokusumo and Gusti Febri of Surakarta, Indonesia, and Ms. Chikako Hoshino, the wife of former UN Ambassador Toshiya Hoshino of Japan Mission.
