Cronulla, NSW - Berry, NSW

Reported by Edgars Ancans, Gianluca Marangon 128.0 km

Our runner/photographer, Satyagraha from Moldova, had to leave for Switzerland this morning. We had a great time together. Although away, he will keep editing and selecting our pictures even when he is away. Many thanks

We would like to thank everyone at Woolworths Metro Randwick for their support, kind offering and enthusiasm. Our team will definitely enjoy this delicious food. Thank you for being part of the run

Today the women's team took the Peace Torch on the ferry from Cronulla Beach to Bundeena Beach, from where they run until Wollongong

"Nobody's perfect except the captain"

They had to face a few adventurous river crossings through the Royal National Park. Rose, from the National Park, told them that a section of the trail was closed because it was flooded, having rained so heavily during the night. They had to find another way to run to Wollongong.

On their way, they met very nice people from different countries

They were all very eager to hold the Peace Torch and offer their wishes for world harmony

Jana is showing a shortcut to Nina...

....better take off your shoes when crossing this shortcut

We extend our sincere gratitude to Woolworths Kiama for sponsoring food for 12 runners for the last few days on the road. The staff at the store were really inspired by the Peace Run

Akzhanar enjoyed her running so much that she forgot she's on a relay run. She kept running quite far and fast, that the support vehicle had to chase her up!

Misha is running the last section to Berry

We are very appreciative and grateful to The Berry Hotel for hosting our team tonight and providing a warm bed for everyone. It really means a lot to get support along the way. Thanks for being part of the Peace Run

Another day of running ends, Another night of cooking begins.
