Today we would like to introduce our RV. This is a member of the American Peace Run that plays a crucial role in the logistics of getting twelve runners around the 10,000 mile journey of America. We cook our meals in here when we are not being hosted by friends and kind-hearted people along the way.

The team having breakfast together and making lunch for the day.

Happy team, living the dream. What a tremendous privilege to be on the Peace Run! There is not a single person we meet that does not smile and light up when they see the peace torch and hear about the Peace Run. We are always humbled by the universal love of peace and the many good people working for peace that we encounter on this fabulous journey.

A very sincere man shares his support for the 'significant message' of the Peace Run.

This man was so cool! He loved what we were doing and didn't stop smiling.

"What an awesome thing you are doing! You've made my day" a new friend told Harita.

Saranyu eagerly starts the running for the day. The women's team has 13 miles to run through the streets of Baltimore.

We are all keen to run today. Carrying the flag and the torch attracts a lot of interest from the public.

Cameron Miles, founder of 'Mentoring Male Teens in the Hood' has been a dear friend and advocate of the Peace Run visiting schools for many years and greets us at Matthew H. Henson Elementary, Baltimore.

Josef points to his country, Hungary.

Amalendu and Saranyu from Australia jump like Kangaroos. This clue is quite easy for the kids to guess but they get a lot of joy seeing adults acting so peculiar!

Kedra Jacox-Paige, Principal of Matthew H. Henson Elementary.

Charming, sweet and well-mannered children at Matthew H. Henson Elementary.

Beautiful, bright children giving us hope.

Sontai from Fox TV, Baltimore came out to do a story of our visit to the school.

Harita is known for her humorous mishaps every now and then. We were watching, slightly puzzled, as she inadvertently tried to unlock the car with a lighter. We are sure to have many funny moments on the Peace Run.

"My louder than the loudest laughter Is, indeed, one of my life-preservers."  Sri Chinmoy

Final visit for the day was Goucher College.

A small gathering of students, staff and friends came to join the Peace Run in a prayer and a run for peace.

As Chaplin and Director of Spiritual and Religous Life at Goucher College, Maeba Jones offers a touching, non-denominational prayer to begin the ceremony.

On the left is head distance coach, JT Klopcic, passing the peace torch to Eric Camodeca, head track and field coach at Goucher College.

Jan Sutcliffe is the partner of the college president. Very nice to meet her.

Congratulations to our Torch-bearer Award recipient, Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw.

Tanise is the first track and field All-American athlete, male or female, in Goucher program history. She is an outstanding individual and has a bright future ahead.

Together we take a walk for peace.

Esther is a first year student studying Arabic and French languages. She saw the Peace Run visit on the college calendar and decided a run for peace would be a great way to spend her afternoon. The team enjoyed meeting her very much.

Thank you to Maeba for organising such a special program for everyone.

We finished the day in the company of some dear friends' in Washington DC. At Oneness Family School we sang songs together that Principal, Andrew Kutt had composed.
