Running through West Lancashire on a pristine day

Arriving at Woodland Primary School in Skelmersdale, not far from the city of Liverpool.

The Woodland Whippets lead the way.

The Woodland Whippets are the running club in the school, who regularly compete in local races.

Thank you to Bev Mills who has coordinated our viisit to Woodland Primary School. Bev is a friend of Cathy Oerter, one of our Peace Run Ambassadors.

The Head Teacher is a keen runner, and is sporting the Woodland Whippets jersey.

A quick tyre change for the girls team.

The team visit a statue of the Peace Run founder, Sri Chinmoy, in Wrexham, Wales.

This schoolgirl remembers the Peace Run visiting her school in Wrexham two years ago.

The day finishes with a fine Indian meal.
