The team is most grateful to Fairfield Inn&Suites Marriott Hotel in Santa Fe for offering us restful accommodation.

The starting point of the day is the beautiful Santa Fe Plaza where friends came to meet us and wish us all the best for the rest of our journey.

Thank you dear Sunamita, our local coordinator in Santa Fe, for organising such heartfelt meetings for the team.

A peace-lover offers us a bag full of snacks for the road. Thank you!

The team starts running and sightseeing the beautiful architecture of Santa Fe.

Evan Gaynor from the local store Running Hub joins us for the first 4 miles out of Santa Fe. Evan coaches numerous runners in Santa Fe as well as remotely.  Evan's fastest marathon was an incredible 2:17 and he also competed in Olympic trials!

Thank you Evan and hope to see you soon!

The Annapurna's World Vegetarian Cafe offered the team most delicious chappati rolls for lunch. Thank you Yashoda!

We are also grateful to Trader Joes for offerings us snacks!

Todorka from Macedonia just joined the team. Welcome!

Also Gatisheela from Vietnam joined the team today! Welcome!

Running out of Hernandez.

Ready to start running!

Jimmy Costa Leal stopped his car and wanted to have a photo with the torch. He told us that he already saw us running earlier in the morning.

We met Wanda on the old Abiquiu rd. Her home is a rest stop for bicyclists.

Adam from Chili was on his weekend run up to Abiquiu and back when he met us on the 285 Highway.

We want to capture everything of the beauty of New Mexico.

The camel is watching us running by.

Hillary, amazing ultra runner, came to run with us to the Abiquiu Dome.

Hillary also ran with us in 2024 when we were here. Thank you Hillary!

Abiquiú Dome- Art Gallery & Shop is owned by metal design artist Connie B. Burkhart. The business is co-owned with her daughter, Becca Fisher.  They most kindly received the team at their beautiful place and treated us with refreshments before the run on the big Trujillo hill.

Becca and Connie delighted us with their peaceful songs and lovely voices.

Such a thrill to listen to their beautiful music! Thank you!

Humming birds...

Some of our team members found a different way to go up the Trujillo hill. They may leave the rest of the run to the men's team.

See you!

The end of the day is at the Abiquiu Campground where the nature simply mesmerize us.

We met Deidre at the campground and she remembered meeting the women's team in Pagosa Springs in 2018!

The women's team in 2018 and Deidre.

New friend at the campground.

Sunset over the Abiquiu Lake...

Time to go to sleep...
