The women's team were the first to start running today.

The countryside was spectacular!

Interesting signage...

The Mayor of Belle Fourche (the geographical centre of USA) and his family happened to be driving along the same road that we were running.   It was quite a surprise!  We were so happy that they had the time to pull over and say hello once again.  We had had such a nice meeting with the Mayor in Bell Fourche on the 10th of July!

Lunch was delivered by the men's team in the RV at around midday.  The burgers were delicious!

The men's team continued running after lunch while the women's team did shopping and made the evening meal.

Lisa and Colleen from True Value Hardware store gave us free washers.   We were incredibly grateful.  They had seen information about the Peace Run in the newspaper.

We were super grateful to (from left to right) Bhavana, Ved and Bharat at the Super 8 in Winner for so kindly providing us with comfortable and air-conditioned accommodation at the end of our very long and hot day.

We presented a Certificate of Appreciation signed by all the runners.

We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Winner.

This is the certificate we gave them in 2012 which they still have!!!
