Because of hurricane Lowell, schools have been closed for the last couple of days, so the team decided to explore the island.
The team ran along Makaha beach and a few brave souls jumped in the water before the hurricane hit Hawaii.

Near the place we were staying we found a Hawaiian Heiau, which is an ancient Hawaiian temple or place of worship ranging from simple stone clearings to massive, terraced rock platforms.
On our way to the Heiau, we had to walk through a lot of debris since the hurricane knocked over tress and branches everywhere.
After a two and a half hour traffic, we made it to the ocean. The team ran 7 miles from Kailua Beach to Lanikai Pillbox.
This young lady working at a restaurant wanted to hold the torch and make her own wish for world peace. Then she called her coworkers to come out and hold the torch as well.
