This morning we assembled a team of Peace Runners from 30 countries to visit Kyoto City Hall.

We were very grateful to meet with Mr. Tetsuo Namikawa, Bureau Chief, The Culture and Citizens Affairs Bureau of Kyoto City.

Japan Peace Run Director Harashita Sunaoshi said xyz. thank you the city of Kyoto for their cooperation and initiative.

Sri Chinmoy Centre President Ms. Ranjana Ghose hold the torch with Peace Run Executive Director Salil Wilson.

As part of her speech Ranjana remarked, "The ideals, integrity and aesthetics of Japanese society are a beautiful example to the world of what life could be like if we all aspired to that end. The Jharna-Kala Art Foundation thanks you for your role in that lofty pursuit. "

Team introduced themselves. amazingly we had more than 30 countries.

A women's music group Blue Flower from the Balkans region performed a selection Sri Chinmoy's musical compositions including one dedicated to Japan which loosely translated speaks about Japan's gift to the world of Inspiration-Beauty.
