São Vicente - Bertioga

Reported by Dipavajan Renner 47.0 km

Our Run started in São Vicente at "Punto Zero" - the point from where the immigration of Sao Paulo started...

..the first km's lead us along the beach of São Vicente...

This point marks the start of the colonisation by Portugal: Brasilia Celulae Mater...

..it was a real sightseeing run....

...some nice refreshments...

...our first stop: the Pelé Museum in Santos. Pelé is probably the most famous football player in the world: its a real honor to follow his footsteps...

Thank you for the nice tour!

...the "Afonso Pena" school was next...

...a well-organised presentation...

...and a symbolic run...

Thank you "Afonso Pena" for the fun!

...waiting for the next meeting...

...international school "Nova Geração", here we are!

..the kids decorated the playground with peace drawings...

...a run for young and old...

Thank you "Nova Geração" for the heartfelt meeting!

...nice refreshments...

...it was time to run. We took even a ferry boat...

...but not this one...

...and not this one, either...

...one of Brazil's special dishes: Açai, a purple fruit from the Amazon...

The sun set near Bertioga...
