Our first ceremony of the day was visiting Wise Academy located at the Masjid Al Hayy Mosque in Sanford, FL.
We were welcomed by enthusiastic students. Here is Dave leading the way into the ceremony.
Sharing with students the message that peace begins in the heart of each person and in this way, we can spread peace. It was founded by Sri Chinmoy in 1987.
Where can we find peace? In our hearts!

Our second ceremony was visiting residents and staff at the Life Care Center of Altamonte Springs.

My father Ray wanted to honor Dr. Eduardo Diaz for his selfless service, kindness and compassion that he has shown to him and all his patients at the facility.

Our second ceremony of the day was the Boys and Girls Club in Oviedo.

Director Anthony Floyd and staff wanted to recognize student Rakim MaGruder because he is always positive and cares about peoples's feelings. He is very friendly with everyone at the club and finishes his projects.
Alex Hull is a volunteer who was also a recipient of the Torch Bearer Award. He has been helping students in the club for 3 years. He really enjoys helping the kids with homework and is very patience with them. The kids are always happy to see him.
We were happy to offer them a painting by Sri Chinmoy and a Certificate of Appreciation. Thank you so much for welcoming us for the second time.

After our last ceremony, we went to visit the Sri Chinmoy Peace Tree in Solary Park which was dedicated on March 2024 by the city of Oviedo.
