Thank you so much Walker and Kim, our good friends in Missoula, for so wonderfully hosting our men's team overnight. Everyone felt right at home.
Thank you also to Shady Spruce Hostel for accommodating our women's team. Dhavala (left) and Mahiya (right) prepared this Certificate of Appreciation, signed by all the runners. We wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful Hostel to anyone looking for accommodation in Missoula.
Colin Potluri from Kansas is biking across America. He was thrilled to see all our photos from when we were in Kansas and he enthusiastically held our Peace Torch! He has cycled 1000 miles from Oregon and will finish in Virginia, a total of 4200 miles. Saudamini (right) and Marina (rear) hold the torch with Colin. Sadly for us all, it is Saudamini's last day today on the Peace run.
Our trusty support vehicles- the RV and two vans, stay close to the runners, providing water, snacks and rest periods for each runner.
Hannah saw us in her home town of Olympia just 10 days ago and was delighted to meet us here in Montana today and hold the torch! Mahiya is on the left and Dhavala on the right.
Some of us visited the brand new Montana Heritage Centre (opened Dec 2025) in Helena - a great museum!
The museum had some stunning artworks. Marina really appreciated this large painting 'When the land belonged to God' by Charles Russell.
