
The Mayor of Richmond, John Wharton, was also present at the school, where he greeted us and shared with the children his view on the importance of keeping peace alive.

The Peace Run team introduced their vision and mission that Peace has to be found in all of us and at first in ourselves, only then we can live in harmony.

Teachers have received the Torch to wish their wishes for peace and run a few laps as an example for kids.

We are very happy and we do appreciate the warm reception and acceptance of our team by Richmond State School, where we could feel the aspiration of the teachers and happiness of the children which are both indivisible parts of creating peace within and around us.

When you can see the horizon in all directions, it can feel like being under a giant blue bowl. A new and wonderful experience for our runners from mountainous countries.

Though the prairie can look like all that lives there is grass, when you have time to stop and look you can find abundant life.

We feel like one family and, as Atulya from San Diego likes to say, we have more than 8 billion brothers and sisters and Earth is our home.

We have lots of fun engaging with the children, answering their questions and singing together the World Harmony Run song with actions.

We are truly grateful for having met the children and teachers of St Francis Catholic School along our journey.

After receiving the Peace Run Certificate of Appreciation, Owen and Natalie come to visit us at camp dinner and enthusiastically they tell us they have laminated the certificate and displayed it on the window.

Akzhanar from Kyrgyzstan cooks for the team a most delicious Korean meal, guksu, making the runners very happy.

In the evening the team members went out to view the stars which are so clear and bright in the outback. And now that we have professional photographer Satyagraha from Switzerland on the team, we can even take photos that come close to showing how awe-inspiring is the vast cosmos that surrounds us.
