This morning we met with Deputy Mayor of Mount Isa (home of the world’s largest copper mine), Kim Coghlan, for a Peace Tree planting

We all took turns burying the nice little fig tree. This Peace Tree joins the many trees that have been planted for peace around the world

In the meantime, one of our boys' teams was covering a section of the distance from Mount Isa to Julia Creek

The children in Julia Creek School receive the certificate of appreciation. They are involved in many roles: Jackson Crawford - school captain, Isabella Charlier - school vice captain and Ruby - Jane Gabbert - sports minister.
