Thank you to Wingate of Wyndham in Broomall, PA for the great hospitality. Our team is very grateful for your kindness in offering us complimentary rooms for the night.

Two warm and wonderful staff members of the Wingate remembered the Peace Run from previous visits. We were happy to see them again!

Good advice!

The Pulaski Highway was a great place to run south. We started in Havre De Grace and stayed on this hilly course until Baltimore.

Along the route we came across rivers, creeks and other nature scapes. It's always nice to pause and take in the beauty we spontaneously discover when running.

Saikhnaa traveled all the way from Mongolia to participate in the Peace Run. There's no chance a downpour of rain is going to deter her!

Though Madina from Kazakhstan is almost never found without a smile, she especially enjoys running with the Peace Torch.

Happy Birthday Eva!

Running conditions for the women's team today were chilly and wet, which Akbota from Kazakhstan found energizing

We heartily enjoyed our gift of homemade cookies.

Serendipity! Along our running route today, we came across participants of the We Are America March from Philadelphia to Washington DC.

Their mission is to connect community and defend democracy. We enjoyed sharing the road (and inspiring conversation) with them.

We admire their commitment and self-giving, and we wish them a safe and fruitful journey.

Many of participants carried the Peace Run torch for a brief part of the journey. We hope it gave them a boost of strength for their courageous endeavor.

Grey skies, blue hair, orange flame, and beaming smile!

Sometimes it's great to run as a duo!

Local resident Anthony was delightfully surprised to encounter the Peace Runners at a gas station today. He took some time to enthusiastically share how his life relates to the Peace Run: Before knowing that our motto is "Peace Begins With Me," he told us that he too lives by this adage.

The Czech Republic and Mongolia may be far apart, but these two Peace Runners are inseparable friends!

Entering "Charm City"...

The Peace Run team was honored to be invited to New Shiloh Baptist Church for a Sunday service.

The joyful, powerful faith of the congregation at this beautiful place of worship inspired us all.

We deeply appreciated that warm welcome offered by Dr. Harold A. Carter, Jr., the Pastor of New Shiloh.

Pastor Dr. Carter graciously offered a beautiful prayer for the safety and success of our team's efforts.

Cameron Miles (standing in middle of back row) is a previous recipient of the Peace Run Torch Bearer Award and is a long-time friend of our organization. Cameron arranged for the meeting with Dr. Carter, and collectively we all made a plan to keep working together.

After the church service, many congregants took the opportunity to hold the Peace Torch.

It's always inspiring and educational to chat with Cameron.

As our day's activities in Baltimore drew to a close, we came across more local residents who were enthusiastic about the Peace Torch.

A future team member?

Our day ended with birthday cake for the second day in a row.
