Kathmandu - Pokhara

Reported by Harita Davies

Today we travellled to the beautiful lakeside mountain city of Pokhara. We did not have any scheduled events so while the coordinators, (Krishna, Suman and Rajendra), finalised tomorrows scheduling, some of us went for a lovely lakeside walk.

Taal Barahi Temple is in the middle of the lake and can only be accessed by boat.

Machhapuchhre, commonly known as the "fish tail", majestically towers over Pokhara.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first few hours at Pokhara, and look forward to Peace Run events planned for tomorrow!
