Today we’re starting at a very active school—Vráble Elementary School (Levická Street). And this was a performance by their school choir.

Everyone enjoyed the short performance by our mime artist, who was there to show whether we were behaving peacefully—and the children clearly recognized it.
Všetci sa zabávali na krátkom vystúpení nášho míma, ktorý mal ukázať, či sa správame mierovo - a deti to jasne spoznali.

Mayor Mgr. Viktor Németh also attended our event and received a Certificate of appreciation on behalf of the entire town of Vráble.
Nášho programu sa zúčastnil aj primátor Mgr. Viktor Németh, ktorý dostal ďakovný list pre celé mesto Vráble.
Deputy Mayor Ing. Monika Mališková stayed until the end of the program and helped us plant a new Peace Tree at the school.

TV JOJ was also there and did a nice report on the entire event, including an interview about what peace means to us, how we work with schools, and what we would most like to see happen.

We’re already in Nitra -and less than a kilometer from the school, athletes from the school are waiting to lead us to the grounds. Running alongside the students was Michal Tóth, their physical education teacher and the brother of another track and field champion, Matej Tóth.
Už sme v Nitre - a necelý 1km pred školou náš čakajú športovci zo školy, aby nás doviedli do areálu. So žiakmi bežal Michal Tóth, ich učiteľ telocviku, zároveň brat ďalšieho atletického velikána - Mateja Tótha.

And the students even had it written on their banners. Overall, the school was beautifully decorated; the art teacher spent hours and hours on it.
A žiaci to mali dokonca aj na svojich transparentoch. Celkovo táto škola bola výborne pripravená s výzdobou, pani učiteľka výtvarnej výchovy strávila nad tým hodiny a hodiny.

Since there were 700 students in the audience, we had to pass around several torches at once so that everyone could make a wish -for others, for the world.
Keďže v hľadisku bolo 700 žiakov, museli sme nechať kolovať viacero pochodní naraz, aby si každý mohol zaželať niečo pekné ... pre druhých, pre svet.

Pozreli sme si viaceré školské vystúpenia, ktoré sa nám veľmi páčili.
We had the great honor of welcoming Nitra’s mayor, Marek Hattas, to this school. We presented him with a Certificate of appreciation for the city and a painting symbolizing World Harmony. We had already met with the mayor once before, in 2022, when we ceremonially unveiled a plaque for the Peace Tree in Nitra, which is located in front of the A. Bagar Theater.
Mali sme tú veľkú česť, že do školy zavítal aj samotný primátor Nitry, Marek Hattas. Dostal od nás ďakovný list pre mesto a maľbu symbolizujúcu Svetovú harmóniu. S pánom primátorom sme sa už raz stretli v r. 2022, kedy sme v Nitre slávnostne odhalili tabuľku pre Strom mieru, ktorý sa nachádza pre Divadlom A. Bagara.

Our oldest member of the Peace Run is truly admirable, especially because he has been running in this event since its launch in 1987.
Náš najstarší člen Mierového behu vzbudzuje obdiv, hlavne za to, že tento beh beží už od svojho vzniku v r. 1987.

Along the route, we also passed through the beautiful village of Lehota, where we had planted the Peace Tree in the past. It’s thriving, and we’ve just replaced the sign with a new one. The mayor of Lehota, Radoslav Kriváček, is also helping out.
Po trase sme mali aj krásnu dedinku Lehota, kde sme v minulosti zasadili Strom mieru. Tomu sa krásne darí, teraz sme len vymenili za novú tabuľku. Pomáha aj starosta Lehoty - Radoslav Kriváček.

After a few kilometers, we arrived in the village of Veľké Zálužie. The photo shows the mayor, Milan Bíro, and employees from the municipal office.

This village has also had a Peace Tree; the plaque was replaced with a new one, and the residents formed a procession to run a few hundred meters all the way to the sports complex.
Aj v tejto obci už je Strom mieru, tabuľka bola vymenená za novú a obyvatelia sa pripojili na pár sto metrov až ku športovému areálu.

In Veľké Zálužie, we also met world champion Adelka Kováčová. In 2025, she became the world champion in pumptrack in the Girls 10 category (girls under 10) at the 2025 Pumptrack World Youth Challenge.
Vo Veľkom Záluží sme stretli aj majstersku sveta, Adelku Kováčovú. V roku 2025 sa stala majsterkou sveta v pumptracku v kategórii Girls 10 (dievčatá do 10 rokov) na podujatí Pumptrack World Youth Challenge 2025.
